A modern corporate web platform I engineered for Idrotermica Tassone, an established plumbing, heating, and industrial HVAC company with over 30 years of history.
The goal was to give them a clean, professional online presence that clearly outlines their residential and industrial services, while keeping the mobile interface simple and accessible for clients of all ages.
Key features & UX choices
- Senior-friendly mobile quick actions: Built a sticky bottom action bar on mobile with high-contrast, oversized tap targets for 1-tap phone calls and direct WhatsApp messaging. This removed friction for emergency plumbing requests and older clients.
- High-contrast industrial design: Clean visual hierarchy, generous line heights, and prominent contact points that make technical HVAC services and certifications easy to parse.
- Modular service catalog: Structured component architecture grouping residential installations, industrial maintenance, and energy efficiency solutions.
Technical details
- Frontend architecture: Built with Nuxt and Vue.js 3 using the Composition API and TypeScript for type-safe service data models.
- Fast static delivery: Pre-rendered via static site generation (SSG) for instant page loads.
- Asset optimization: Optimized all project photography into lightweight WebP formats with explicit aspect ratios to prevent Cumulative Layout Shifts (CLS), paired with self-hosted variable fonts.
