Privacy Policy
Data Controller
The data controller for this website is Adriano Paonessa (Italy). For any privacy-related inquiry or request, you can write directly to: adrianopaonessa20@gmail.com.
Zero Tracking & Local Typography
This website is built with a zero-tracking architecture. It does not set any profiling, advertising, or analytical cookies. There are no tracking scripts, pixels, or third-party telemetry services running in the background. Furthermore, all typography (Plus Jakarta Sans and JetBrains Mono) is strictly self-hosted locally on our own servers, preventing any automated IP transmission to third-party font networks (such as Google Fonts). Consequently, no cookie consent banner is required under EU and Italian privacy regulations.
Video Embeds (YouTube No-Cookie)
On the A Bard Game Beta page, a gameplay video is embedded using YouTube's official Privacy-Enhanced Mode (youtube-nocookie.com). This domain prevents YouTube from setting tracking cookies unless you explicitly click to play the video. Interacting with the video player connects your browser to YouTube/Google servers, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Server Logs & Data Retention
The web application itself does not collect or store visitor information. At the hosting infrastructure level, the Linux web server automatically and temporarily records standard technical connection logs (IP address, timestamp, requested resource, user agent, and HTTP response code).
This processing is carried out exclusively under legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) to ensure network security, defend against malicious traffic or DDoS attacks, and diagnose system errors. Technical server logs are retained for a maximum period of 30 days, after which they are automatically rotated and permanently purged.
Direct Contact
If you choose to contact me via email or through social links (GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram), the information you provide is used solely to reply to your inquiry. It will never be sold, shared with third parties, or added to mailing lists.
Your Rights & Supervisory Authority
In accordance with Articles 15 through 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of any personal data you have voluntarily provided. You may exercise these rights at any time by sending an email to adrianopaonessa20@gmail.com.
Pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority if you believe that your personal data is being processed in breach of applicable regulations. In Italy, the supervisory authority is the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, Italy - www.garanteprivacy.it).
